Technical Sales Engineer (possibly trainee)

About the role

We are currently seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to join our team at Compact Loaders UK. In this role, you will be responsible for Product Sales and Technical Support for our MultiOne Multifunction Loaders and Sherpa Mini Skidsteer Loaders.

The role would suit a qualified agricultural engineer (or similar) who is looking to move into a sales role.

A candidate showing the right attributes, personality and attitude may be considered without prior experience in Sales or Product Support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Actively seek out new sales opportunities and follow up on leads
• Conduct product demonstrations and training sessions for dealers and customers
• Attend trade shows and events to promote the products and generate sales
• Develop and maintain relationships with dealers and customers
• Create and maintain sales reports and forecasts
• Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective sales materials
• Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor products

Skills, Experience and Qualifications required:

• Completed Apprenticeship or Qualifications in Agricultural Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience in sales or technical support would be beneficial, but not vital
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to travel for work, sometimes spending time away overnight
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and CRM software
• Hold a valid driver's license
• Possess a high level of motivation
