Launched in 2011 by nurserymen Mark Straver & Robin Wallis, Hortus Loci is a unique breed of plant nursery. Our aim is to supply the best plants possible.
To achieve this, we source most of our plants as liners, plugs or Jumbo Plugs from leading specialist growers in the UK, then tailor our husbandry techniques to meet the needs of all the plants we grow.
Our second MultiOne arrived a while ago and everyone on the nursery is really impressed. We had other similar loaders on trial before we bought our first MultiOne a few years back for our Landscape Company.
The feedback from our staff is that they are really tough machines and very easy to control, “instinctive” is the word most used.
We have bought many of the attachments as we have gone along and have been impressed with all of them. Trust with a supplier is very important so being guided Compact Loaders as to a few of the attachments that they felt were not quite up to the job was very helpful and we really appreciated their honesty.
The machines have been very busy on some very prestigious jobs often getting envious glances from Estate and Site Managers.
All in all, the service, attention to detail, communication and above all the quality of the machinery supplied have been exemplary and we would be happy to demonstrate them in action to any potential customers in the South of England.
