Service Engineer/Product Support Manager

It’s exciting times for MultiOne UK and due to expansion we have a great opportunity for a Service Engineer/Product Support Manager to join the team based at our headquarters in Chesterfield, Derbyshire.

You will be responsible for the Technical Support, Warranty Repair and Servicing of MultiOne mini loaders and other machinery both in our workshop and on site. You will support our dealer network with advise and technical guidance, and hands on service support to our customer base. This role will suit an experienced Service Engineer with a plant/machinery background who is looking to further their career in a rapidly expanding company.

Responsibilities include:

  • Diagnostics, maintenance and servicing of MultiOne mini loaders to a high standard
  • Complete pre-delivery-inspection of new machines and compile related paperwork
  • Carry out scheduled Service & PUWER/LOLER Inspection in compliance with all Company Policies and Procedures
  • To carry out all tasks in compliance with the Company’s Environmental and Health and Safety Procedures ensuring that your workplace, including site work and roadside are safe for you to carry out the work required
  • To undertake field based repairs and warranty rectifications as and when necessary
  • To complete Maintenance Records and Reports accurately and on time

Personal Skills and Attributes:

  • 5 years minimum experience with a solid mechanical knowledge of mobile plant and machinery, including (but not limited to), Forklift Trucks Dumpers, Excavators, Tele Handlers etc…
  • Proficient in mechanical, hydraulic, electric and diesel/petrol engine fault-finding, servicing, repair and maintenance including welding
  • Proficient with reading hydraulic & electric schematics
  • IT literate with CRM knowledge
  • Valid, clean driving license (preferably with B+E category).

Salary is between £25,000 – £35,000 depending on experience. 20 days holiday.
